This is VERY heavy and you should utilize 2 people to mount this effectively. It must be drilled and mounted into studs. It does not come with instructions. The chains hang low, so unless you have 10 foot ceilings (or >)omit the chains. Use the chains if you are mounting over an island. I thought about cutting a few links out of the chains, but I have handled WOKS and they hang low. Overall, I love the streamline look and the copper is a plus for a monochromatic color scheme. I hope that you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.
