It comes with 8 swivel hooks that are attached around the outside of the piece, 32 hanging links to connect together and act as chain, and 12 pan hooks for you to hang anywhere on the inside slated grid. I was not too dumb to figure out to put four of the hooks up through from the bottom to hang the rack on the chains, but the directions should match the product.

        The size shows 36"x18". that is the dimension of the pot hanging center. The dimension of the whole piece is considerably bigger. Bad form to list it as one size and it is different.

        If you liked it enough to order it, you'll love it when it arrives. Assembly is easy enough, however the instructions are a bit confusing. It fits well into a kitchen with a more traditional theme, as it would in a kitchen with a more modern theme. Excellent quality at an affordable price.
