Q1: Can you advise me how this pot rack fastens to the ceiling so that the electrician will know how to prepare the wiring?

A: The pot rack has 2 chains that attach to the top of the fixture. The chains go up into 1 canopy rectangle that attaches to a junction box. The junction box must be reinforced to hold up to 100 lbs. if you plan to put pots and pans on the fixture.

Q2: Are two electrical circuits and wall switches required?

A: This can be wired as a regular fixture so it only needs 1 circuit and only 1 wall switch.
